Nele has over 19 years experience in the private label manufacturing industry as Key Account & Project Manager. In 1998 she started working for the McBride group, Europe’s leading supplier of Private Label Household and Personal Care products. As Key Account Manager for the personal care category she realised numerous successful new product introductions for retail and hard discount in the Belgian and French market.
In 2005 she continued her career at Pauwels, a leading producer of sauces and dressings in Europe. In this position she successfully expanded their French and Belgian retail and discount business.
7 years later, triggered to explore additional product categories and retail markets she accepted the challenge to move to the frozen ready meals business for Crop’s. Here she expanded their business and customer portfolio in Central and Northern European countries, by creating customized solutions for Key Accounts in both retail and discount.
Based on a deep knowledge and experience as well as her entrepreneurial background, she feels very much at home in a wide range of categories and channels. These include food and non-food as well as retail, drugstores, foodservice and industry.
Nele has a strong commercial drive and a hands-on mentality. She joined IPLC in 2017 and acts as a trusted, reliable and honest consultant sharing her deep knowledge of the private label industry with her clients. Nele is particularly aiming to support Belgian companies in developing their private label business abroad and to assist foreign manufacturers to enter the Belgian market. Nele speaks fluent French, English and German. Dutch is her native language.
